What turned out to be the last major boxing match at Yankee Stadium ended up also being one of the most controversial in the annals of boxing with an aging Muhammad Ali prevailing over Ken Norton in the final bout between the two heavyweights. The duo had each one a match from a pair of split decisions in 1976 giving the 1976 rubber match at Yankee Stadium even more import than it would have already claimed. This time the decision was unanimous if not universally lauded for its accuracy and the souvenir program here and Nr-Mt unused ticket are fair testimonials to the epic event. The Ringside ticket with a$200 face value imprinted is a true unimprovable blazer; the 52-page full-color souvenir program is nearly as pristine with only the slightest wear visible in the upper-right corner pages. The program is rendered even more desirable for Ali fans by virtue of a unique 16-page subsection inside that chronicles much of Ali's famed career as recorded in covers of the Daily News.
