A young Muhammad Ali is captured here in an 18-by-22-inch original artwork by noted sports artist Doug West the creator of highly coveted artwork of professional and amateur athletes from the United States and around the world. Serious hobbyists will recognize the style as one that has been used in a number of sports card sets over the years along with producing high-quality lithographs and prints. With that background an original painting like this draws additional attention; add in a striking Muhammad Ali black Sharpie autograph and date (9-9-90) and you've upped the ante yet again. The original art signed in white in the lower-right corner by West has been attractively matted in contrasting black red and white elements and protected in a heavy black wood frame to overall dimensions of 21-by-25 inches. Artwork and framed elements appear to be in essentially as-issued and problem-free condition.
