Beautiful large format lithograph by Burt Silverman has been beautifully signed by Mickey mantle in bold black sharpie across his image with "NO. 7" just below (grading a perfect 10 in our opinion). This impressive image is famous as the signature artwork representing Mickey Mantle's restaurant. This artwork was created specifically to appear on the cover of the menus at Mickey mantle's restaurant located on Central Park South. Mantle specially commissioned this artwork from Silverman in 1988 for use at Mantle's. The original painting hung there for many years as well. In addition to using it as the cover image for its menus the restaurant also controlled the exclusive distribution rights to signed lithographs such as this. This is one of the most attractive and famous images of Mantle ever rendered and it is ideal for display. The litho (25.5 x 37.25 inches) is in NM condition. This lot includes a COA from the Greer Johnson Collection sold on November 22 1997 at the Southgate Tower Hotel in New York City New York.
