In New York Yankees lore two of the most famous Bronx Bombers had to be Mickey Mantle and Joe DiMaggio. Mantle nicknamed the Commerce Comet from Kansas and DiMaggio often referred to as the Yankee Clipper were a pair of Hall of Famers who earned the respect and admiration of not only Yankee fans but baseball fans everywhere. This lot includes a pair of single-signed baseballs autographed by the two superstars. The first snowy white official American League (Brown) baseball includes DiMaggios signature in blue ink across the sweet spot. Its a terrific autograph that is perfectly centered rating 9-10/10. The second official American League (Brown) baseball shows some slight toning but has Mantles signature also in blue ink also perfectly centered on the sweet spot. Mantles autograph also rates a strong 9-10/10. Two must-have baseballs for any serious New York Yankees collector!
