Incredible panorama of the 1929 World Champion Philadelphia Athletics signed by all 28 players pictured which belonged the Hall of Fame catcher Mickey Cochrane. The 1929 Athletics are regarded as one of the greatest teams in the history of baseball winning 104 games and defeating the Chicago Cubs 4-1 in the World Series. The next year the Athletics would win 102 and win their 2nd World Series title in a row 4-2 over the St. Louis Cardinals. 1931 would see their 3rd American League Championship in a row with 107 wins before losing to the same Cardinals in 7 games. After this Mack would be forced to break up this team due to financial considerations and sell off his best players due to financial considerations. Players are from left to right: Eddie Collins(HOF) Kid Gleason Walt French Jimmie Dykes Jimmy Cronin Homer Summa Max Bishop Sammy Hale Bevo LeBourveau Mickey Cochrane(HOF) Cy Perkins Bill Breckinridge Jimmie Foxx(HOF) Connie Mack(HOF) Lawrence Moore(bat boy) Bing Miller Al Simmons(HOF) Eddie Rommel Rube Walberg Lefty Grove(HOF) Howard Ehmke George Earnshaw Jack Quinn George Haas Bill Shores George Burns Joe Boley and Earle Mack. Vintage black ink signatures are very readable with most in the 5-7/10 range. There are a couple of non-Hall of Famers that are extremely light but they can be identified by holding the photo at an angle. Panorama itself appears to be in outstanding condition with no creasing evident. Piece is still in an 8 1/2" by 31 1/4" period frame. A real treasure of one of the greatest teams of all time from one of the greatest players of all time.

Letter of Provenance from the Cochrane family.

Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
