Featured here are an awesome pair of pristine Air Jordan III retro sneakers signed by His Airness himself. Snazzy gray/black/white retro colorway varies only in the color combination from the pair Nike originally released in 1988 - Tinker Hatfield's first AJ design. In 1988 Michael averaged 35 ppg en route to his 4th straight All-Star game where he won the MVP award and 2nd consecutive Slam Dunk title famously taking off from the free-throw line. He was also voted the Defensive Player of the Year won the league scoring title and took home the league MVP trophy - all while wearing the original Air Jordan III. This retro mid high-top version features the Jumpman logo on the tongue insole and rear heel. "JORDAN" on the outsole. Honors Hatfield's innovative design using tumbled leather with faux elephant skin print on the toe cap and heel. They come in Men's size 9.5 and are spotless with that new shoe smell. Michael Jordan has autographed the left shoe on the outside angle in 9/10 black Sharpie next to the UDA hologram sticker (UAS10244). They come in their original black Nike box. The consignor got the shoes signed by Jordan in person at the 2014 MJ Flight School Camp in Santa Barbara CA. Upper Deck representatives were at the event overseeing the signing session.
