When the most famous athlete on the planet traded his sneakers for spikes in 1994, the Birmingham Barons became the hottest ticket in minor league baseball, and the pinstriped #45 jersey became an instant icon. Offered here is a limited edition Michael Jordan autographed Birmingham Barons jersey produced by Upper Deck Authenticated, number 50 of only 250 created.

The Wilson-manufactured home pinstripe jersey (size 48) features the classic "Barons" script across the chest in black tackle twill with gray trim, along with the familiar #45 on the left front. Jordan has signed boldly in black marker across the right front panel, and the edition number "50/250" is hand-notated beneath the numerals. A UDA hologram is affixed to the front of the jersey.

Jordan's lone professional baseball season remains one of the most fascinating chapters in sports history. Playing for the White Sox Double-A affiliate under manager Terry Francona, he drove in 51 runs and stole 30 bases while drawing record crowds at every stop on the Southern League circuit. His Barons jersey has since become one of the most recognizable and desirable pieces of Jordan memorabilia in the hobby, a symbol of the competitive fire that drove him to chase his father's dream.

The jersey remains in excellent condition, clean and bright with no notable flaws. Accompanied by the original Upper Deck Authenticated certificate of authenticity (item 13889) with matching hologram AAE22471, stating that the jersey was signed in the presence of a UDA representative and is one of a limited edition of 250.
