The aesthetic quality of the offered Mel Ott autographed M114 Baseball Magazine player poster premium almost defies description. Issued in 1933 this sepia toned photo premium featuring an image captured by preeminent baseball photographer Charles Conlon has an ageless appearance. None of the fold lines typical of such pieces are present and the coloration and overall condition of the piece are spectacular. Correspondingly spectacular is the resplendent Mel Ott blue ink signature perfectly placed at the center of the white margin at the bottom. The combination of the quality of the autograph and the medium itself is striking. PSA/DNA has assigned the Ott signature a MINT 9 grade although one could argue such a lofty grade is conservative in this case. Beautifully framed and matted to a size of 12 1/4" by 15 1/2".
