This lot includes a Mel Ott (HOF) cut signature framed and matted display (15.5” x 11.5”) with two baseball cards and a bronze plaque that reads “Mel Ott 1909-1958 Six-Time NL Home Run Champ - Manager NY Giants & Oakland Oaks - 1951 Hall of Fame. Ott’s vintage blue ink signature rates 8-9/10. Also included is a Casey Stengel cut signature framed and matted display (16” x 20”) with one baseball card and a plaque that reads “Charles D. “Casey” Stengel 1890-1975 Manager Oakland Oaks and NY Yankees 1966 Hall of Fame”. Stengel’s vintage black ink signature rates 8/10. Both eye-catching pieces come from the widow of a longtime PCL (particularly Oakland Oaks) collector.
