Duke one-and-doner R.J. Barrett was drafted third overall by the New York Knicks in 2019 and the 6' 6" wing put together a solid rookie season, averaging 14.3 points and five rebounds per game. He pumped up those numbers to 17.6 PPG and 5.6 RPG along with three assists as an NBA sophomore, helping lead the 41-31 Knicks to the playoffs for the first time in eight seasons.
Featured here is a pair of Barrett's game worn Puma Clyde All-Pro basketball shoes photomatched to two games in May of 2021. The vibrant pair of size 15 low-top sneakers have a sleek design with a black, silver and purple canvas pattern and light blue midsoles. A Puma logo tag is sewn to both tongues, while a Puma Formstrip runs down the outer panel. A highlighter-yellow Puma logo is featured on the rear of each shoe. The insoles remain and all elements are as-issued and problem-free. There is evident game use on the toes and outsoles. Barrett went for a combined 41 points, 15 rebounds, and 7 assists while rocking these sneakers. One of the prominent, up-and-coming guards in the league, he pushed his scoring to 20 PPG in 2021-22 and is off to another solid start this year.
