Outstanding May 23 1935 Walter J. "Rabbit" Maranville Testimonial Dinner Program signed on the front in dark bold 9-10/10 looking black ink and pencil by 12 attendees to the event 8 of whom are members of the Baseball Hall of Fame. They are: Babe Ruth(HOF) Honus Wagner(HOF) Rabbit Maranville(HOF) Paul Waner(HOF) Lloyd Waner(HOF) Johnny Evers(HOF) Pie Traynor(HOF) Bill McKechnie(HOF) Babe Herman Hank Gowdy William E. Benswanger(Pirates President & CEO) with one unidentified due to handwriting. Ruth was in Pittsburgh that day as part of a 3 game series against the Pirates May 23 24 and 25. On May 25 Babe Ruth would go 4 for 4 and hit the final 3 home runs of his Hall of Fame career(712 713 and 714). He would retire from baseball just 5 days later. Awesome collection of autographs directly dated to an important time in baseball history. Program itself has some creases but still overall in pretty nice shape. The signatures were collected by a Pittsburgh resident and kept for years inside his daughter's high school yearbook until only recently being discovered.
