On May 14 1967 at Yankee Stadium Mickey Mantle launched his 500th career home run off Baltimore Orioles relief pitcher Stu Miller to become at the time just the 6th player to reach this elite club of sluggers. He joined Babe Ruth Jimmie Foxx Mel Ott Ted Williams and Willie Mays. There are only 12 examples of the ticket stub to this milestone game but none are graded higher than the one featured here. This PSA NM-MT 8 is one of two in its elite class with ten other examples in the Auth 1 - NM 7 range. The $1.50 grandstand admission stub is stamped with the Yankees logo and the date of the game in red. Front and back are super clean with sharp colors and hardly any fading. As a point of reference a PSA Authentic stub from this historic game sold for $1553 in 2014 one of four in that benchmark class with eight graded higher. Be prepared to spend quite a bit more for this amazingly well-preserved stub.
