Hall of Famer Mark Messier game worn New York Rangers road jersey from 1991-92 the National Hockey League's 75th season. In 91-92 the New York Rangers had the most points in the NHL winning the President's trophy with Mark Messier being named the League's Most Valuable Player. Messier is recognized as one of the greatest players of all-time spending 25 years in the NHL. The 15 time All-Star played on 6 Stanley Cup winning teams. His career accomplishments are incredible. He is 2nd in points 2nd in play-off points 3rd in assists and 7th in goals. "Gerry Crosby Athletic Outfitters" "CCM" and size "52" tags sewn in collar. 75th anniversary patch sewn on front of jersey. Jersey exhibits good wear including slash marks minor stains and a team repair above the left number on back. Buttons on fight strap show loss of surface and some rusting and lots of piling is evident on the inside tail on the back of the CCM logo. A number of abrasions from contact are apparent on the back numbers.
An accompanying LOA from MEARS renders a positive opinion of authenticity and usage characteristics but cites a lack of photomatch in their overall grading of A5.
