Former first baseman Mark McGwire enjoyed a 16-year major league career playing for two different teams: the Oakland As (1985 to 96) and the St. Louis cardinals (1997 to 01). Known for booming bat McGwire launched 586 home runs during his playing years including a then-record single-season 70 dingers during the 1998 campaign. In addition to his bashing prowess McGwire was a very capable fielder with a career fielding percentage of .993 who and earned his only Gold Glove award in 1990 with the As. This lot includes one of McGwires game-worn first basemans glove during his tenure with the Cardinals. The Rawlings PRO-CMHCB Gold Glove model two-toned glove shows ample game use and includes Mark McGwire embroidered in gold on the back of the thumb area.
Payment for your invoice must clear in full prior to shipping. All items will be shipped from SCP Auctions’ Laguna Niguel, CA office in the order that payments are received.
