Derrick Rose was the number one pick overall in the NBA draft in 2008 and won rookie of the year in 2009 and MVP in 2011. This lot includes five 2007 yearbooks from Derrick Roses senior year of high school at Simeon Career Academy where he was named most Athletic and most talented among his senior class. The yearbooks are in mint condition and with a blue cover that features yellow lettering and a yellow paw print.
Lebron James is arguably one of the best players to ever play in the NBA. James is a 2 time NBA champion and finals MVP. HE has 4 MVP trophies NBA rookie of the year(2004) two gold medals and an 11 year all-star. Also included in this lot is a yearbook from Lebron's freshman year of high school. The 2000 yearbook is from the St. Vincent-St. Mary high school in Akron Ohio. There are 4 pages devoted to the varsity basketball team with Lebron prominently featured and he is described as "Freshman phenomenon Lebron James". The fighting Irish team went undefeated that season on their way to the state championship. Truly a unique lot that any basketball fan would enjoy adding to their collection.
