Nice group of Cassius Clay/Muhammad Ali fight programs from 1963-1978.
-Cassius Clay vs. Henry Cooper, June 18th, 1963 is in EX condition with some folds on the corners and some creases throughout. Fight was at Wembley Stadium in the United Kingdom. Fight was topped after Cooper started bleeding excessively from a cut to his left eye.
-Muhammad Ali vs. Henry Cooper, May 21st, 1966 is in EX-MT condition with some discoloration on the left side of the cover and a few minor creases throughout. Fight was at Arsenal Stadium in London. The fight was stopped in the sixth round and Ali would become victorious against Cooper for the second time in his career.
-"Rumble in the Jungle" Ali vs. Foreman took place on October 30, 1974. Program is in NM condition with some blemishes on the back cover page and some moderate creasing on the spine. Fight took place in Zaire in the middle of Africa and the fight was stopped after Ali knocked the undefeated 24 year old Foreman down in the 8th round. One of the greatest sporting events of the 20th century.
-"Thrilla in Manila" Ali vs. Frazier 3 took place on October 1, 1975. Program is in NM condition with some moderate creasing on the spine. Overall tremendously well preserved. The fight took place in the Phillipines and was won by Ali in 14 of the most violent rounds of boxing ever seen when Frazier's corner threw in the towel with no protests from an exhausted and bloodied Frazier.
-Ali vs. Spinks took place on February 15, 1978. Program is in NM condtions with some moderate creasing on the spine and a slight crease at the top right corner. The fight took place in Las Vegas, NV and would be the first time Ali lost his title in the ring. After 15 rounds the judges would score in favor of Spinks.
