Since the NBAs inception in 1946 one team has stood out in nearly every decade as the leagues perennial contender: the Boston Celtics. With 17 NBA titles the Celtics are the winningest organization in the leagues 69-year history. This lot features five Boston Celtics multi-signed basketballs direct from the personal collection of former All-Star and recently inducted Hall of Fame point guard Jo Jo White. Two of the five basketballs are of the white-panel variety and sport the original team logo as well as the current Celtics logo and line-lists the teams first 16 NBA titles (1957 to 1986). On both of these white-panel basketballs are five autographs from Celtics Hall of Famers: Bill Russell Bob Cousy Tom Heinsohn K.C. Jones and Jo Jo White.
The remaining three multi-signed basketballs boast a total of more than 38 autographs between them including the signatures of Red Auerbach Bill Russell John Havlicek Larry Bird K.C. Jones Bob Cousy Tom Heinsohn Ed MacCauley Satch Sanders Dennis Johnson Don Chaney Kevin McHale Gerald Henderson Danny Ainge Kevin McHale and even Ernie DiGregorio. Just a great collection of signed basketballs from the leagues most fabled franchise.
