No franchise in the history of sports outside of the NBAs Boston Celtics perhaps has dominated a sports league quite like the New York Yankees of the 1950s and 60s. Those Bronx Bomber teams won a total of 13 American League pennants and eight World Series titles during that 20-year span. Yankee standouts like pitcher Whitey Ford and catcher Yogi Berra blossomed during this time as did a popular first baseman that went by the name of Bill Moose Skowron. This lot includes four team-signed baseballs from Yankee squads during that time period. Each one of the baseballs one A.L. (Budig) version and three OML (Selig) baseballs has been signed in blue ink and all four have Berras signature on the sweet spot. Other notable names on the baseballs include Don Larsen Tony Kubek Hank Bauer Johnny Sain John Blanchard and of course Ford and Skowron. All autographs are solid and rate 8-9/10.
