The following three sets of Hall of Fame induction plaques and medallions originate from the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

Aleksandr Gomelsky known as the father of Soviet men's basketball was inducted in 1995. He began developing the Russian game in 1945 at the USSR Coaches School as a 17-year-old. In a 29-year stretch "Aleksandr the Great" won over 70 percent of the 2600 games he coached. He guided the Soviet National team to 7 European championships 2 world championships2 Olympic bronze medals in 1968 and 1980 the silver medal in 1964 and most notably the 1988 gold medal in Seoul ending the USA's 21-game win streak in the Olympics. From 1953 to 1986 as coach of the ASK Riga and TSKA Moscow teams Gomelsky won 13 Soviet National titles.

Inducted in 1996 Kresimir Cosic was a hero on and off the court in his native Croatia. The 6'11" center enrolled at Brigham Young University in 1970 after leading the former Yugoslavia National team to an Olympic silver medal in 1968. Equally effective inside and out Cosic was the first foreign player to earn All-America honors. After college Cosic returned to Croatia and played in 4 Olympic Games (1968 1972 1976 & 1980) helping Yugoslavia win the gold medal in 1980. As a player and coach at the professional level Cosic lead Olimpia and Cibona to 5 Yugoslavian League titles. His decision to attend BYU paved the way for future international basketball players to come to America to improve their basketball skills at the collegiate level.

Ann Donovan was one of the first women to be inducted in 1995. The 6'8" center lead Old Dominion University to the 1980 national title and took the Lady Monarchs to three Final Fours during her college career. She was named Naismith National Player of the Year in 1983. She went on to win two Olympic gold medals (1984 & 1988) with the USA Women's basketball team and later coached the USA team to two more Olympic golds (asst. coach in 2004; head coach in 2008).

The 18" by 18" plaques (in blue or red) feature a bio of the inductee's career including statistics and records plus a 5" by 6" photo of the player or coach in action. Each metal plaque weighs 2.5 pounds and is in NM-MT condition. The circular metal medallions measure 12 in diameter and 1/2" thick weighing approximately 1.5 pounds. Each one features a three-dimensional etching of the player or coachs face. The verso of each medallion has two support bars that once held the medallion onto the wall at the pre-2002 location of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield MA. The verso of the Cosic and Gomelsky medallions have pieces of masking tape with their last names marked in black Sharpie. Donovan and Gomelsky are in NM-MT condition while Cosic is closer to EX-NM due to a slight blemish on the nose and small scratches at the top.
