World-renowned photographer Ken Regan who passed away in 2012 spent years covering rock-and-roll icons and the sports world and his Muhammad Ali photographs have been widely reproduced. In 1975 he photographed Ali and George Foreman's famous Rumble in the Jungle bout in Zaire and landed a photo on the cover of Sports Illustrated. This lot includes three oversized (approx. 13 wide by 10 high) black-and-white candid photographs of Muhammad Ali taken during the 1970s. Each is a Type 1 photo and has Regans stamp on back. All three are authenticated and encapsulated by CGC. An interesting trio of photos capturing one of the sports worlds most iconic figures outside the ring.
Payment for your invoice must clear in full prior to shipping. All items will be shipped from SCP Auctions’ Laguna Niguel, CA office in the order that payments are received. Please allow up to three business days following clearance of payment for items to ship. All items will be shipped UPS/FedEx Ground unless you contact us to discuss an alternative shipping method.
