Bob Feller also known as Rapid Robert was a hard-throwing right-hander for the Cleveland Indians from 1936 to 1956. Although he lost three seasons (1942 to 44) due to military duty Feller still managed to rack up 266 wins over 18 years in the major leagues to average just under 15 wins per season. In fact he was a six-time 20-game winner who compiled 2581 strikeouts and pitched 279 complete games. This lot includes three choice Feller-signed items: a Mitchell & Ness Cooperstown flannel replica jersey signed and inscribed by Feller with "#19" (JSA cert# G35409); an American Needle fitted (7 1/4) Cleveland Indians hat signed and inscribed by Feller with "H.O.F. 60 1948 W.S. CHAMPS" (JSA cert# K92672); and a Wilson Top Notch 605L model (1940's era) fielder's glove signed in 10/10 silver paint pen (JSA cert# K92671). A trifecta of quality Cleveland Indians memorabilia for any astute baseball fan.
