Very nice offering of 3 New York Yankee related 1930's-40's stock certificates.2) 1945 Voting Trust Certificate For Voting Stock of American League baseball Club of New York Inc. #31 (unissued). 8 1/4" by 10 3/4" certificate presents well but does have a 1/2" tear at top and a 1 3/8" long tear at bottom inside corner.
3) 1930's Stadium Maintenance Corporation Stock Certificate (unissued). This company handled the maintenance for Yankee Stadium. Included with this lot is a copy of a 1935 article discussing a lawsuit against the new York Yankees and Stadium Maintenance Corporation in Federal court by a fan who claims he was beaten by stadium employees when watching a group of other fans attempting to retrieve a baseball stuck in the home plate netting. Certificate has two fold lines with creases at 3 of the 4 corners. Still will display well.
