Presented is a 1909-11 T206 Piedmont Cy Young (Cleveland, Portrait) graded PSA VG 3 (PSA cert. #175227134). Of Young's three poses in the T206 set, the portrait variation is widely regarded as the most desirable, and it remains one of the most iconic cards of the legendary tobacco issue.

Young is pictured in a head-and-shoulders portrait against a solid green background, wearing his gray Cleveland uniform with the team name across the chest. "YOUNG, CLEVELAND" is printed in the bottom border. The reverse displays the Piedmont 150 Series advertising back, "The Cigarette of Quality," with the Factory No. 25 designation, one of the most recognizable T206 back types.

This example presents with strong eye appeal for the VG 3 grade. The green background is bright and even, the portrait is sharp and clearly rendered, and the card displays well-balanced borders. Wear is limited mainly to light corner softening and minor surface flaws consistent with the grade, while the reverse remains clean with clearly printed text.

Young's career records remain among the most unbreakable in professional sports. Over 22 seasons, he won 511 games, completed 749 games and threw 7,356 innings, all major league records that have stood for more than a century. He also pitched three no-hitters, including a perfect game in 1904. A member of the Hall of Fame's second induction class in 1937, Young remains a cornerstone of any pre-war collection, and this card is an outstanding example.
