Shohei Ohtani's 2018 rookie campaign earned him American League Rookie of the Year honors and launched a two-way career unlike anything the game has seen, one that has since delivered multiple MVP awards and World Series championships. This 2018 Topps Living Set #7 rookie is offered in a strong Beckett GEM MINT 9.5 grade.

The Topps Living Set pays tribute to the classic 1953 Topps design, with each card offered online for a limited time. Beckett's label notes a print run of 20,966 for Ohtani's issue. The front features a painted portrait of Ohtani in his Angels cap against a pale blue backdrop, complete with the "RC" shield and a red nameplate reading "pitcher/designated hitter." The reverse showcases the 1953-style layout, including his biographical details, a "Dugout Quiz" cartoon and a facsimile signature in red ink.

Beckett has awarded this example a 9.5 overall grade with impressive subgrades: Centering 9.5, Corners 9, Edges 9.5 and Surface 10. The perfect surface score highlights the card's clean, glossy artwork and vibrant color, while the centering and edges both earn gem-level marks.

A high-grade Ohtani rookie with detailed subgrades, offering great value for collectors building a top-tier Ohtani collection. The card is housed in a clean, scratch-free Beckett holder. BGS certification #0010606574.
