Signed in the vivid green ink that became his personal trademark, this 2003 SP Legendary Cuts Cut Signature #TC presents a bold, full "Tyrus R. Cobb" autograph from the immortal "Georgia Peach." The signature is large and confident, accented by a flowing underscore, and is set on a cut bearing a printed decorative border along its lower edge. The card is hand-numbered "4/6" in blue ink, making it one of just six examples produced.

The rich red-and-gold design features a vintage image of Cobb in a Detroit uniform alongside the Tigers' Old English "D" and his quote, "Speed is a great asset; but it's greater when it's combined with quickness." The reverse carries Upper Deck's certificate of authenticity, signed by CEO Richard P. McWilliam, noting the signature was obtained from Quality Autographs & Memorabilia of Virginia.

Cobb's statistical legacy remains staggering more than a century later. He retired with 4,189 hits and a .366 career batting average, still the highest in Major League history, while capturing a record 11 or 12 batting titles (depending on the source) across 24 seasons. In 1936 he received more votes than any other player in the Hall of Fame's inaugural class, outpolling even Babe Ruth.

The card has been graded EX-MT 6 by PSA, while the autograph has earned a strong PSA/DNA 7 grade (cert. #160977372). Authentic Cobb signatures, especially in his signature green ink, remain among the most desirable of any early baseball legend.
