Jim Brown is widely regarded as the greatest running back in football history, and his 1958 Topps #62 rookie card is the key to the set and one of the most important football cards ever produced. Brown's career was as dominant as it was brief. In just nine seasons he led the NFL in rushing eight times, was named league MVP three times and never missed a game. When he walked away at the age of 29, he held the NFL's career rushing record with 12,312 yards and had scored 126 total touchdowns. He was enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1971.
