Presented is a sharp 1975 Topps Mini #228 George Brett rookie card, graded NM+ 7.5 by SGC. The 1975 Topps Minis were produced as a limited test issue in select markets, replicating the regular 1975 set in a smaller format. Their scarcity relative to the standard issue has long made the Minis a favorite of advanced vintage collectors, and Brett's rookie is among the most important cards in the set.

The design features the colorful two-tone borders that made 1975 Topps an iconic set, with a vivid green "Royals" header above a purple base. Brett is pictured in a batting stance in his powder blue road uniform, complete with a facsimile signature across the image. This example offers bright, saturated color, a crisp image, nicely balanced centering and strong corners for the grade. The reverse is clean, displaying Brett's minor league and early major league statistics.

Brett went on to one of the most decorated careers of his generation. He collected 3,154 hits, posted a .305 career average and became the only player to win batting titles in three different decades. His 1980 season, when he flirted with .400 before finishing at .390, earned him American League MVP honors, and he helped lead Kansas City to the 1985 World Series championship. He was elected to the Hall of Fame on his first ballot in 1999. A high-grade example of one of the key rookie cards of the 1970s, housed in a modern SGC holder.
