Presented is the rookie card of baseball's all-time hit king: a 1963 Topps #537 Pete Rose Rookie, graded VG/EX+ 4.5 by SGC. Rose shares the "1963 Rookie Stars" card with Pedro Gonzalez, Ken McMullen and Al Weis. The card was issued in the scarce high-number series and remains one of the most popular rookie cards of the 1960s.

The obverse features four head-shot portraits set in red circles on a bright yellow field, beneath a sky-blue "1963 Rookie Stars" banner. Rose appears at lower left in his Cincinnati Reds cap, identified as "Pete Rose • Cincinnati Reds, 2B." The reverse lists each player's minor league lifetime record, including Rose's .317 average and 52 triples.

"Charlie Hustle" captured the 1963 National League Rookie of the Year Award and went on to compile one of the most remarkable careers in the game's history. He collected a Major League record 4,256 hits and played in more games than anyone in history. Along the way he won three batting titles, the 1973 NL MVP, three World Series championships and 17 All-Star selections. He was a central figure in Cincinnati's "Big Red Machine" dynasty of the 1970s.
