The 2020 Lumber Kings baseball series is akin to the hockey lumber kings that Leaf previously offered with game used hockey sticks. Featured in the baseball series are game used pieces of bat ends, barrels, knobs and ends. Some of the key figures who have legendary bat pieces offered in the series include Mickey Mantle, Ted Williams, Roger Maris, Jim Rice, Ken Griffey Jr. and David Ortiz.
Featured in this lot is a 1/1 game used bat knob from Babe Ruth...The Sultan of Swat. The card displays perfect color and registration and the game used piece of lumber is front and center. Corners are near perfect and the thick card has snow white background and edges. An outstanding and one of a kind investment piece or addition to any Ruth collection that exhibits MINT.
