Featured in this lot are the last pair of shoes ever worn by Kobe in an officially amateur-sanctioned game before declaring for the NBA draft in June of 1996. These shoes were worn by Kobe in pre-game warm-ups during the 1996 Magic Johnson Roundball Classic on April 14th. The vintage Adidas sneakers have been signed by Kobe Bryant on each toe, including his full name and high school number "33". Size 13.5 shoes were initially requested by Kobe for his showcase, but he decided to switch to his size 14 examples before the game started. Kobe would go on to keep 14 as his official size, and Adidas would mold his foot for a perfect fit moving forward.

 

Full name Kobe Bryant autographs are scarce enough, let alone with his high school number included. Each shoe has been authenticated by PSA/DNA and comes with a full LOA.

 

A letter of provenance from a former Adidas Global Director of Brand Communications is also included.

Payment for your invoice must clear in full prior to shipping. All items will be shipped from SCP Auctions’ Laguna Niguel, CA office in the order that payments are received.
