VG PSA 3 Full Unused Ticket to the World Heavyweight Championship Fight between Champion Joe Louis and challenger Jersey Joe Walcott held at Yankee Stadium in New York City on June 23 1948 a re-match of their controversial split decision of the year before. Before a crowd of 42000 Walcott again knocked down Louis in the 3rd round but Louis kept fighting and managed to knock out Walcott in the 11th to retain his title. Clean front and back with great images of the two boxers. Crease free with corner wear looking to be the main reason for the VG rating. One of only 2 VG 3's with just one VG-EX 4 rated higher by PSA.
