On June 22, 1986, at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City, Diego Maradona produced two of the most famous goals in football history within the span of four minutes — the controversial "Hand of God" and the stunning solo run voted the Goal of the Century.
This ticket stub from that 1986 FIFA World Cup Quarterfinal between Argentina and England (Argentina 2, England 1) is a tangible artifact from one of sport's most mythologized afternoons. The blue Categoria C stub bears official Mexico 86 XIII Campeonato Mundial de Futbol branding and the Estadio Azteca designation with the Junio 22 date.
PSA has encapsulated and graded this stub GD 2 (cert. 102486343), providing authentication and preservation for one of the rarest and most historically significant tickets in football collecting.
