Great looking red pennant from Joe Louis' training camp has pair of gloves on the left side with "I WAS THERE" and "JOE LOUIS' POMPTON LAKES N. J. JUNE 1948 TRAINING CAMP" on the right. Louis was in training for his upcoming June 25th World Heavyweight Championship fight against challenger Jersey Joe Walcott. Louis would knockout Walcott in the 11th round to retain his title. 26" long pennant looks to be in great condition with both tassels still present.
