The 1977 All-Star game at the old Milwaukee Arena was the first All-Star game following the merger between the NBA and the ABA. ABA legend Julius "Dr. J" Erving took full advantage of the opportunity to entertain a wider national audience. His electrifying performance earned him MVP honors. For his participation in that historic game Erving received this Nike leather travel bag. The bag is custom embroidered with Ervings name in yellow script as well as 1977 NBA ALL STAR in black lettering. Dr. J has signed the side of the bag in black sharpie. Moderate usage wear is evident.
Includes a signed LOA from Julius Erving.
