This is a 10-inch-square wood plaque carved in the shape of the State of Ohio that notes John Havlicek's "Buckeye of the Year Award" going on to note in all-caps engraving on the roughly 7-inch-square gold-finish metal piece (also shaped like the state) "For his Outstanding Performance and Leadership as Captain of the Boston Celtics in the 1969 Season." The presenters are also noted in the upper left- and right-hand corners as "Crestview C.C." The NBA Hall of Famer supplied a handsome black Sharpie autograph across the bottom section of the plaque running roughly speaking from Cincinnati to Athens. It is in essentially as-issued and problem-free condition with not even a whisper of scuffing or wear along the intricately detailed edging of the woodwork. Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from John Havlicek.
