Worn in the 1986 Schick NBA Legends Game the third year of the resumed contest since earlier attempts in 1957 and 1964 the series would continue for several more years before being abandoned by the league. The Size 44 MacGregor Sandknit jacket is in superb condition starting with the intricate red and blue silk-screened elements that range from the "NBA Legends 1986" and "Schick" on the front to the knitted piping on the collar and sleeves. Havlicek signed in striking black Sharpie beneath the "NBA Legends" and the iconic NBA logo on the front adding his "#17" inscription. The jacket is largely as-issued and problem-free showing only the most miniscule occasional small stains and some discoloration from age. The Size 44 MacGregor Sandknit white jersey is similarly imposing showing good game use and a bit of the expected staining but otherwise problem free. The delicate silk screening is without issue front and back and Havlicek has added a second autograph on his "7" on the back this time in silver Sharpie. Similar accolades apply to the Size 35 MacGregor Sandkint shorts with pristine overall appearance and only the expected small staining anticipated from genuine game use. Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from John Havlicek.
