One of the most beloved players in the history of the league received tributes aplenty as he made his way around the league during his final campaign in 1978 including this sparkling brushed silver plaque presented by the Buffalo Braves. The team presented this plaque to John Havlicek as he made his final regular-season visit in February of 1978. A brushed silver 7 1/2-by-10 1/2-inch in-action photograph shows a driving Havlicek; a blazing blue Sharpie Havlicek 9/10 autograph appears at the lower portion of the image. A separate 8-by-2 1/4-inch silver nameplate below the photo provides Havlicek's name and number along with the date and a tribute from the Braves. Logos of the Celtics and Braves appear at each side of the nameplate. Photo and nameplate are attractively mounted to a wood base with overall dimensions of 10-by-15 inches. All elements appear to be in as-issued and problem-free condition.
