Consistency and durability were two of the greatest hallmarks of the extraordinary career of John Havlicek. This official Wilson NBA basketball was used by Hondo to record his then record 16th consecutive season of scoring 1000 or more points. The ball shows good game use and is in impressive and problem-free condition with gold-and-black ornate lettering added to two panels noting John Havlicek 1000 Points 16 Consecutive Seasons vs. Phoenix at Boston March 17 1978. And on St. Patricks Day in Boston to boot! Havlicek added a bold black Sharpie autograph on the top panel between his name and the 1000 Points inscription.
