This jersey and shorts from John Havliceks 10th All-Star Game selection is one of the more unique and distinctive of the many All-Star Game uniforms of the period. Giving the traditional nod to the host - Phoenix Suns - a blazing mixture of Arizona Orange and Purple produced one of the more ostentatious designs of the genre. Havlicek scored 16 points in the game held at Veterans Memorial Coliseum as the East barely edged the West by a 108-102 score. The Spanjan tagged purple jersey is set off with Arizona Orange and white highlights with the typically elegant Havlicek autograph appearing in black Sharpie on the white 7 on the back of the jersey. Both the jersey and the Size 34 Spanjan-tagged purple trunks are in essentially as-issued and problem-free condition with no alterations of any kind visible and minimal fraying on piping or the intricately embroidered letters or numbers a consistency highlighted by the eye-catching Arizona Orange sunburst elements on the shorts. A premier example of one of the more unique and distinctive All-Star garments in league history.
