This is the jersey shorts and stirrup socks from John Havliceks eighth selection as an NBA All- Star a marvelous specimen in stunning red white and blue all pieces maintained in incredible condition for over four decades. Hondo tallied 14 points in the contest yet another triumph for the East squad 104-84 in Chicago. The Size 42 Wilson-tagged jersey is blazing red with pristine piping on the sleeves and torso so patriotic that youll be tempted to salute. An absolutely stunning Havlicek autograph appears in black Sharpie on the 1 on the back of the jersey. Both the jersey and the Size 34 Wilson-tagged trunks are in essentially as-issued and problem-free condition with no alterations of any kind visible and minimal fraying on piping or embroidered letters or numbers. Any single piece of game used equipment from the 1973 NBA All-Star Game is a rarity. The notion of an ensemble as complete as this from a player of Havliceks stature with direct documented provenance is nothing short of astonishing.
