Its the middle of the Boston Celtics heyday in the 1960s as they pile NBA titles one upon another and as you conjure up images of John Havlicek this is the green road jersey and shorts your minds eye has created for the moment. Its a remarkable piece of Celtics archival royalty that brings back to life that giddy era when the NBA was young and almost every year found Boston atop the heap once again. This Size 44 Wilson-tagged jersey shows considerable game use and a remarkable level of preservation and care with little or no fraying of the stitching on the white piping on the sleeves and collar or around the Celtics letters on the front or the No. 17 back and front. The Size 34 Wilson-tagged shorts (with embroidered 17 tag adjacent) are no less impressive showing considerable game use but in essentially problem-free condition. A striking black Sharpie Havlicek autograph has been added to the number 7 on the back. A simply sublime artifact from a golden era of NBA history. Includes a LOA from John Havlicek.
