Two great figures from postwar Americana are pictured here in an original oil painting that captures the likenesses of Joe DiMaggio and his wife Marilyn Monroe. DiMaggio was known not to sign images that pictured Marilyn thus making this painting a rare example. The painting measures approximately 13-by-15 inches and is nicely framed in a simulated gold finish over wood to 15-by-17 inches. Joe DiMaggio signed in his elegant distinctive script in silver Sharpie on the bottom quarter of the painting.
