“The Yankee Clipper” “Joltin' Joe”... These are the nicknames that come to mind when the Yankees legend Joe DiMaggio is mentioned. This lot offers a gorgeous Joe DiMaggio autographed (in striking silver sharpie) original (13” x 17”) charcoal or pencil sketch by Artist Michael Castronova. This beautifully rendered sketch is in MINT condition and is matted and framed to an overall size of 19.5" by 22". DiMaggio’s signature rates a perfect “10” for strength and eye appeal as well as the artist’s “CASTRONOVA 94” signature in pencil. Fine quality piece of sports art and a worthy tribute to one of baseball’s greatest heroes. Pre-Certified by PSA/DNA.
