Joltin Joe DiMaggio was one of the greatest baseball players to ever don a New York Yankees uniform. This lot features a beautiful Giclee on Canvas limited-edition (#33/56) print showing the Yankee Clipper in various stages of his MLB career. An HC print ("Hors De Commerce" in French) which translates to "Out of Trade" in English is very similar to an Artist Proof except an HC is only available through the artist directly. They are valued as Artist Proofs or higher since they are even rarer. This majestic representation of the late Yankee has been signed by both DiMaggio and the artist Danny Day in silver along the bottom. The Giclee measures 36 wide by 32 high but has been framed and double-matted exquisitely and now measures 42 wide by 38 high and is ready to be proudly hung on any baseball collectors prized wall.
