During his 10-year tenure with the Boston Celtics newly inducted Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famer Jo Jo White won a pair of NBA titles (1974 and 76) and was named MVP of the 76 NBA Finals. This lot features an oversized green shamrock (made of plastic) that was used during a special Celtics Legends Reunion event that was held in 1995 at the Boston Garden. This particular shamrock measures nearly 35 wide by 35 tall and includes Whites name JO JO WHITE in capital letters across the front. The shamrock upon which White stood was used as a marker on the fabled parquet floor during the reunion event. White has signed it across the top in black marker and has added his uniform number (#10). The lot includes four 8 x 10 color photographs taken during the ceremony one of which shows all 23 members from Celtics folklore who were honored that night and gathered for a team photo at center court.
