Perhaps the former major leaguer with the most impressive hunting credentials this side of Ted Williams is presented here in a wonderful single-matted piece with two sepia-toned first-generation photographs roughly 4-by-5 inches each. The photos are displayed in individual cutouts on a Ex-Mt condition olive mat with a classic shot of Hall of Famer Jimmie Foxx firing a shotgun; Foxx has signed in his distinctive hand at the bottom of the photo in fountain pen 8/10. A "team photo" with five of his hunting comrades crisply outfitted in 10-gallon hats and appropriate cowboy regalia is below with Foxx's notation of their first names neatly penned near each individual with a lineup that included Foxx Red Sox owner Tom Yawkey and teammate Pinky Higgins and two others. Each one is holding a deceased pheasant (?) seemingly attesting to the collective expertise of their shooting eye. Full LOA by PSA/DNA.
