Offered here is a beautifully signed and inscribed Jesse Owens photo from the 1936 Berlin Olympics at the start of the 200 meters. This is the most popular image of the USA track & field legend used by the media to promote his historic feats then and memorialize him today. The determination is abundantly clear in his facial expression as he races for his second of four gold medals in Berlin.
The 8x10 black-and-white restrike has been immaculately signed by Owens with the inscriptions "Best of Luck" and "36 Olympics" in bold black pen. PSA/DNA has authenticated Owens' neat penmanship and graded it a perfect 10. An incredible piece for any Olympics or American history collector.
