The Rams are back in Los Angeles after two decades in St. Louis and they hope to have the franchise quarterback that will eventually take them to the promised land. Jared Goff was selected by the Rams #1 overall in the 2016 NFL Draft and is determined to win the starting job when the 2016 season kicks off in early September. Lofty expectation are being placed on Goff's shoulders after his three years at the University of California-Berkley. Goff started all 12 games as a true freshman in 2013 for the Golden Bears as the team finished 1-11. The Bears improved to 5-7 his sophomore year and 7-5 his junior year when he led them victory in the 2015 Armed Forced Bowl over Air Force. At 6'4" and 215 pounds the blond-haired youngster out of Novato CA who rooted for his hometown 49ers growing up hopes to break some hearts in San Francisco when the Rams open up at Levi's Stadium on September 12.
Featured here are Jared Goff's training-worn shirt and cleats from John Gruden's Quarterback Camp this past April. Gruden QB Camp gets prime coverage on ESPN every year with the energetic former head coach instructs the incoming class of NFL signal callers as they prepare for the upcoming draft. Goff and Gruden looked over film together and worked out on the practice field where Goff can be seen wearing these cleats. The gold and black Nike 'VPR' cleats come in size12.5 with a manufacturing date of "11/05/15." They show solid wear especially on the bottoms and are each signed by Goff on the toes in shiny silver marker. The gray "GRUDEN QB CAMP" shirt comes in Size XL and is signed on the back No. 16 in bold black marker. Both items comes directly from Goff through his agency Rep 1 Sports.
