PR PSA 1(MK) Full Ticket to the World Heavyweight Championship fight between Champion "Gentleman Jim" Corbett and Challenger Charley Mitchell held at the Duval Athletic Club in Jacksonville Florida on January 25 1894. In the only successful title defense during his reign as Heavyweight Champion Jim Corbett knocked out Charley Mitchell of Great Britain in the 3rd round. After starting slowly in round one Corbett dropped Mitchell near the end of round 2 and was upset that the referee counted too slowly. Mitchell then hit Corbett after the bell rang and started a brawl between the two. Their seconds had to pull them apart before a riot broke out. Corbett came out like a wild man to start round 3 and knocked Mitchell cold with a right to the chin. From the front the ticket presents a very clean VG-EX but a thumb tip sized area of paper loss at the back center from album removal drops the technical grade to PR. (MK) rating is from some ink writing covering much of the back. The only ticket full or stub to this fight ever graded by PSA.
