The 2006 AFC Championship was a memorable one for the Indianapolis Colts after their unthinkable comeback to defeat the Patriots and earn the right to play in Super Bowl XLI. Down 21-3 late in the second quarter the Colts stormed back with 32 points after halftime to defeat the team that had bested them in two previous playoff matchups. QB Peyton Manning threw for 349 yards and a touchdown even adding a rushing TD to get the scoring started in the third quarter. Joseph Addai ran it in from three yards out with one minute left in the game giving Indy its first lead of the game 38-34. Marlin Jackson then sealed it by intercepting a Tom Brady pass with 17 seconds on the clock. This end zone pylon was used during that historic comeback.
The bright orange pylon measures 18” high and is weighted down (almost 4 lbs.) with sand. It shows ample game use with some surface wear and abrasions. The pylon comes with a COA from the NFL and PSA/DNA (1N34599).
